There was a time when many schools employed marketing or communications directors.  Let’s face it – those days are gone.

From the cost of cleaning contracts to increased pensions payments, the pressure of school budget remains pressurised.  However, the brutal reality is that schools need to compete – compete for students and the funding that comes with them.

For many years, I was responsible for the PR and communications of the Oasis Academies – a Multi-Academy Trust containing over 50 schools.  During this time I learnt the importance of delivering impactful communications programmes on lean budgets ensuring that every penny spent could be justified.

Employing someone to manage communications is a luxury most schools can no longer afford.  However, I can deliver a communications package that will cover your core comms needs and help your support staff learn how to deliver an ongoing strategy. Because I am a freelance consultant, you would only pay for the things you really want, bringing down cost and maximising quality.
